Today on the bowl production line using some old cherry from a tree I felled a while ago
Today Smithy helped replace the brim stiffener in my leather hat using the spring steel from a car wheel trim we found in the road
A trellis and a polished bowl made today at shed
This weeks attempt failed as the lid cracked the bowl :(
Today’s bowl was across the grain so whilst it looks nice, it sadly warped as I cut the centre out. At least it means the lid is a snug fit.
This week was making a bowl with a matching lid - Smithy was impressed.
A great turnout at shed today. I think the busiest I have ever seen it. Several new members joined us.
Today I made two bowls from a cherry tree I felled last year
